Fort Worth, Texas – The 2025 SIAM Conference on Computational Science and Engineering Fort Worth, Texas – The 2025 SIAM Conference on Computational Science and Engineering (SIAM CSE) welcomed several participants from Durham University’s Scientific Computing research group:
- Chris Marcotte contributed to the organizing committee
- Timothy Stokes presented his MISCADA thesis as part of the BGCE Student Paper competition
- Pawel Radtke shared his PhD research, including work from a recent stay at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in San Francisco
- Anne Reinarz, Chris Marcotte, and Tobias Weinzierl gave talks and helped organize minisymposia
This involvement reflects the group’s commitment to collaboration and growth, and it also demonstrates how the Durham SIAM Student Chapter supports early-career researchers in engaging with major conferences in the field.
